The London Area Airports are Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Luton And London City Airports.  And one of the peskiest issues you will face is with airport parking at any of them.  While most people try to waste as little time as possible in making flight connections, that when you run into a real snag, your schedule may be in jeopardy.  Forewarned is forearmed.  Let’s start our list to keeping your schedule while parking at any of the airports.

1)  It can be vital that you pre-book your parking spot well in advance to assure yourself of availibility.  We can help you with several of the private vendors and will outline the services available from each.

2)  Using a scheduled private service, will be like moving to the head of the line at Disney World.  All you have to do is arrive, check in and grab your luggage to go on the shuttle to the airport.  You will be dropped off at the door in front of your airline and bypass others who started an hour earlier than you did.  No waiting at pay machines, no finding a space in crowded conditions, no circling the lot several times, and no hauling your luggage from 1/2 a mile away.

3)  Services can vary, and if you want valet parking, we can help you with that as well.  Perhaps you want to be met at the gate.  We can help there too.

4)  Perhaps this should have been ranked higher, it all depends on whether you want to save money or time as to the ranking.  Usually those arriving just want to get out of the airport.  And those departing from that airport just want to get to the plane, so we have ranked the money saving feature in this spot.  But certainly, you should know that many of the vendors will do both.  Save you Time, more time to spend on your holiday.  Save you Money, more cash to spend doing the things you like!  A super combination.

5)  You should understand that a weekly rate is often calculated based on 8 days and 2 weeks on 15.  While not intuitive, you should realize this and confirm the term when making reservations.  It can affect your planning schedule just a little.  That means that a weekly rate would be for instance, a Saturday to Saturday.

6)  If you have special circumstances, be sure to confirm availablity, such as to accomodate disabilities in advance.  Most are happy to offer considerations based upon needs.

7)  The last thing you should have to worry about, is the safety of your car.  Many lots have been issued the "Secure Parking Award" from the London City Police Force.  Look for it to be sure you can have peace of mind.

8)  When comparing rates, be sure to inquire whether the spot you are quoted on are for "Onsite" or "Offsite" airport parking.  Onsite usually refers to airport parking controlled by the airport authority.  While the "Offsite" sounds worse, consider the prior points and realize that as long as you aren’t being shuttled from the other side of the city, you will save not only the money but time as well by using it.  Just be informed as to the length of time from parking to airport.

Stansted BCP Off Airport is very good or the standards of Flighline, Holiday or Purple.

London City Airport Parking - Parking at London City Airport is divided into long term and short term stays. Parking is quite convenient to the terminal but the growth in popularity of this airport in recent times means you may need to get there earlier to find a good parking place!

Remember to book well in advance, ask questions and use a reputable vendor such as any of those listed in the chart below.  There is NOT a bad one listed.  Only that some offer exteded services which may be of interest in some cases, such as corporate needs, or meet and greet.
